Episode 500 Competition T's & C's

1. This competition is organised by Nivaadh Singh & FTLOM (‘Competition Promoter’).

2. To qualify as an entrant in this promotional competition you must be 18 years or older.

3. To qualify, participants must be in possession of a valid South African passport.

4. All individuals occupying the prize cabin, that is, those that will be brought by the winner, must also have valid South African passport.

5. By entering this competition and/or accepting the prize, all entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this promotional         

    competition.

6. The Competition Promoter reserves the right to determine eligibility and may exclude or disqualify individuals/participants based on the

    competition criteria/entry requirements.

7. The Competition Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if fraudulent activity, dishonest behaviour, or any form of misconduct is

    detected. This includes, but is not limited to, providing false information, attempting to manipulate the competition, or engaging in any actions

    deemed to be unethical or illegal.

8. The Competition Promoter will interpret the rules at their own discretion.

9. All entries will be vetted and verified by the Competition Promoter.

10. The prize consists of a 2 sleeper ocean view cabin on the Bhangra Boat®. The Bhangra Boat® takes place from 27 February to 2 March 2026

      aboard the MSC Opera and cruises from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal to the Portuguese Island, Mozambique.

11. The prize is valid only for the Bhangra Boat 2026 and cannot be transferred, deferred, or used for any subsequent cruise seasons or other

      departures in the same cruise season.

12. The prize does not include any additional expenses such as travel, flights, meals, or accommodation for the winner and any of his/her

      guests/passengers occupying the additional ocean view cabin, should they reside outside of KwaZulu-Natal. All such costs are the sole         

      responsibility of the winner and their guests/passengers.

13. The winner and their passengers/guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the KwaZulu-Natal Cruise Terminal and must

      ensure timely arrival for embarkation. The Competition Promoter will not be liable for any costs or damages incurred if the winner and their guests

      miss their embarkation.

14. The cabin costs include amenities and services such as cruise fare, mandatory charges, taxes, travel insurances, food, onboard entertainment

      on the Pool Deck and Theatre for the entire duration of the cruise.

15. This competition does not cover costs of cool drinks, bottled water, alcoholic drinks, spending money, gambling money, WIFI/internet, spa

       treatments, professional photography/videography, hair or salon treatments, shore excursions, and all items that is deemed of a personal nature         as per the standard MSC Cruises Policy. All exclusions shall be at the cost of the winner and his/her passengers/guests should they wish to     

       make use of such facilities and amenities.

16. The winner will be announced during Episode 500 on 24 January 2026 on our social media platforms.

17. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 (seven) days, the Competition Promoter reserves the right to select another winner or to forfeit the

      prize without selecting a replacement winner.

18. Prize Delivery:

​

a) The Competition Promoter’s partner the Bhangra Boat shall be responsible for the booking of the ocean view cabin prize and all associated

     administrative tasks.

b) The winner must provide valid passports for all passengers/guests occupying the ocean view cabin prize by 27 January 2026. Failure to submit

     valid passports by this deadline will result in the forfeiture of the prize, and the Competition Promoter will not be liable for any costs or damages 

     arising from such forfeiture.

c) The cruise tickets will be issued and e-mailed to the winner within 7 days preceding the embarkation date.

19. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives and must be used in conjunction with the original booking.

20. The Competition Promoter reserves the right to amend, extend, or withdraw the competition at any time.

21. The Competition Promoter and its partners, staff and management, accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from     

      participation in the competition or the use of the prize.

22. The Competition Promoter shall not be held liable or accept responsibility for any difficulties or any technical issues that may impede or prevent

      entry to the competition.

23. Entrants must not be affiliated or an employee of any other 2025/26 MSC Theme Cruises or its' parent, subsidiaries, affiliates; or with any other

      company or person involved in this Competition or cruise.

24. This promotional competition is not open to immediate family members, friends, business partners, artists, performers (including their immediate

      family/friends/spouses/partners), or any associated brands affiliated with the FTLOM and it’s partners. The Competition Promoter reserves the

      right to define what constitutes immediate family, friends, business partners, artists, performers, and associated brands for the purposes of     

      eligibility in this competition.

25. As an entrant ("You"), agree that The Competition Promoter has the right to publish, share and promote your entry submission, where relevant, on

      Facebook, Instagram and TikTok or other social media platforms.

26. The Competition Promoter reserves the right to substitute the competition prize for an alternate competition prize of the same value should the     

      Competition prize be not available for whatsoever reason. In such an event, all entrants waive rights which they may have against the             

      Competition Promoter and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claims against the Competition Promoter for such changes.

27. The winner agrees and accepts that their name and image will be utilised to promote future editions of this competition, where relevant.

28. The Competition Promoter reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this competition in the event of technical or other difficulties that

      might compromise its integrity. This also includes unforeseen complications and force majeure that might arise from, for example but not limited        to, health epidemics or pandemic and other epidemics or pandemics including restrictions put in place by National or any sphere of     

      Government. The Competition Promoter will not be liable for any damages or costs that may result from such suspension or termination 

      associated with this Promotional Competition.

29. The Competition Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with these terms and conditions and prize delivery where such failure is

      due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or other unforeseen events.

30. The Competition Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions should it be required. The Competition Promoter will not be

      liable for any damages or costs that may result from amendment/s to the Terms and Conditions associated with this Promotional Competition.

31. The decision of the Competition Promoter is final. No discussion, appeals or correspondence will be entered into.

32. The Competition Promoter will only use entrants’ information for the purposes of this competition in accordance with the Protection of Personal

      Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPI Act). By entering and commenting, all entrants will have deemed to have accepted and bound by the rules and 

      consent to the use of their personal data (e.g. names and photographs) for the purposes of the administration of this promotional competition

      and for marketing of this promotional competition and the Bhangra Boat®. All information will not be disclosed except to the extent strictly

      necessary for the Promotional Competition. Such disclosure may include disclosure to the The Bhangra Boat® third party affiliates and/or third   

      parties.

33. FTLOM, The Bhangra Boat®, its affiliates, directors, employees, staff, service providers, agents, MSC Cruises and any sponsors shall not be

      held liable for any possible injury or death to the winner and guest during the Bhangra Boat® 2026.

34.FTLOM, The Bhangra Boat®, its affiliates, directors, employees, staff, service providers, agents, MSC Cruises and any sponsors shall not be held

     liable for any possible loss or damage of persons, property to the winner and guest during the Bhangra Boat® 2026.

35. FTLOM, The Bhangra Boat®, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, MSC Cruises and any sponsors disclaim all liability for any harm,

      damage, claim, or loss incurred by any entrant or concerning their property, caused or suffered in connection with this Promotional Competition,

      regardless of the cause thereof.

36. Prize Rejection:

​

a) In the event that a winner declines to accept the prize or is unable to claim it within the specified time frame, the prize shall be forfeited. The

    Competition Promoter reserves the right to award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner or to otherwise handle the prize at its discretion.

b) By declining or forfeiting the prize, the winner relinquishes any future claims or rights to the prize or any substitute or replacement thereof. The     

    winner acknowledges and agrees that no further claims or demands will be entertained once the prize is rejected or forfeited.

c) The Competition Promoter shall not be liable for any additional compensation or alternative

     prizes in the event of a prize rejection or forfeiture.

36. The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by South African law.

37. If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms and conditions/provisions will continue to apply.
